Church Copyright Licence

Further, the licence permits the creation of custom musical arrangements where no published version exists. A simple alternative to seeking direct permission from each copyright owner, the Church Copyright Licence is a trusted solution and presently covers more than 250,000 churches and Christian ministries worldwide.

Buma Performance Licence
Use music more. As an agent for BUMA / Stemra, CCLI offers the BUMA Performance Licence which provides coverage for churches to play music and hold concerts and recitals on their premises. While the Performance Licence Low covers live music or choir performances by members of the church community only, the Performance Licence High extends this to include live music performances by groups from outside of the church community as well as background music played before, during or after services.

Buma Background Music Licence
Add ambience. As an agent for BUMA / Stemra, CCLI offers the BUMA Background Music Licence which permits churches to play music recordings (Spotify, CDs, etc.) during church activities, socials and mission events as well as children’s/youth groups and holiday clubs. Two options are available to suit the needs of churches/venues of different sizes.
